Thanks for posting.
Nice bike at a decent price for what's offered.
Most of the components have been "upgraded". The 1984 TdF came with Ofmega Mistral cranks, hubs and derailleurs.
The original plastic Ofmega derailleurs and shift levers on these bikes seem to have deteriorated much more quickly than Simplex Delrin derailleurs. Most surviving 84 TdFs that I've seen have different derailleurs.

I have two 1984 TdFs plus a 1984 Super Corsa. Both models share the Super Vitus 983 frame. Only the colors differ.
These frames are the best riding and handling bikes I've ever ridden!
This CL bike is listed as a 54cm (21 1/2"). It's a 55cm measured from BB center to the top of the seat tube and fits me perfectly.
Here's an eBay picture of my first 84 TdF (I don't know why people show the left side of bikes when the right side has the important components!)
After I changed some components.
84 TdF # 2
1984 Super Corsa "frankenbike" that I bought as a bare frame.

If only I lived back in California again. I would be on that. Here in Minnesota, which is very bicycle oriented, crappy TdF's (and PX-10's) fetch a premium that borders on ridiculus.
