Frenchbuilt

Hi I came across a lot of bicycle parts and a big box of Simplex Prestige shift levers all NOS.

I got them from a guy who picked them up from someone who acquired old stock from the Gitane Factory many years ago.

They have cables attached and were in bins or boxes set up this way for quick assembly at the factory. Some have the Simplex logo on the clip some without logo.

If someone in the Forum needs a set, just pay me the postage (7 euros)
I will give away "free" 3 or 4 like this.

In the deal were 10 NOS Suntour V GT lux rear derailleurs.

There are also 3 or 4 sets or matched (connected by wire by factory) of what I think are Tandem hubs. One has front and rear drums. The other sets are attached to Atom front hubs. I will post photos and maybe someone can ID these??

And I have a NOS set of Normandy Delux hubs that have a Gitane tag attached. These came from the factory. They will be on e bay.

There was about 100 pounds of parts in all but mostly for low line and bikes with 2 or 3 speed Sachs hubs.

Sounds like a nice haul. I bought a bunch of parts - mostly centerpull stuff and other lower end miscellaneous things for $50 US a couple of years ago. Although, I figured it was worth when the Super Champion competition tubular rims were included.
