We're going to need some help with identifying this tandem, but I'd just GUESS it's circa 1976 , given that it's a yellow label Gitane in Burgundy, with a cotterless Stronglight crank.
gitane tamdem bike
simplex gears sx410
stronglight cranks
handel bars etched with the name " marque deposee "
mavic rims
lyotard pedals
mafac breaks "front left-both tires,,front right--rear drum"
3- gears on front sprocket and 5 on the back
vetta rack on back
front seat is " sella italia " the rear is not original
the bell on the front has a crown inprint. |

Gitane only used that style of decals in 1984:

The main difference between the bike for sale and the one in the 1984 Gitane catalog is the curved seat tube.
Gitane made lots of different models for specific markets and many of them were never listed in any catalogs. |

i dont know if this will help but the # on the frame is " C108249 with a 12 under those #s. then there are #s " 06117 55 " on the bracket in front of the rear tire
