I am rebuilding my recently obtained 1972 TDF, which has MAFAC Competition Calipers with some almost worn out original pads. I was wondering if anyone new of any newer style pad, that would fit that caliper. The newer pads are a longer and more skinny than the old block style. Or is there a good block style replacement pad as well. Thank you.  |

| Completely agree ... I personally use the salmon compound reproduction Mafacs on all my Mafac brakes and they work great, wet or dry ... and they stop much, much better than NOS originals. |
