I bought this bike just for the seat but it cleaned up so nice that I kept the bike too.
1991 Gitane Avenir with "glow" paint. The saddle is a cheap Spanish copy of the Italia Turbo Bio. But it is the original Gitane piece.
Low mile bike 100% original down to the tires except for my redo with my favorite Pelton Shade bar tape. Real original tape has bigger dots!

Actually, the paint looks much better than I thought it did when I saw that stuff in the catalogue. |

Real bike is much nicer than the Gitane catalogue photo and was surprised
when I picked up the bike.
I have bought many parts from Mario and he is excellent. He does not have
anything but the yellow version.
