So after 3 months of work here is my restored Interclub, still need some brake hoods but otherwise ready to go! Replaced the simplex rear mech with a campag and using my brooks saddle but otherwise all original parts...Rides really nice!

The plastic MAFAC brake levers didn't always come with rubber hoods, especially the ones with the plastic cable asjusters.
The full hoods show up on eBay on occasionally. They were made in black and gum.
A suggestion, the plastic adjuster broke easily. I suggest that you readjust your brake cable so that you can screw the back into the levers.  |

Do you know of any 3rd party hoods that would fit well, and are more readily available and cheaper on eBay?

No and no.
There's a seller from Cyprus? that has sold a bunch of the levers and hoods. |
