According to decals this Piste which I bought from Cedric in France (Thanks for tip Trois Tubes) is from 1980 - 1983 era. It has three main tubes made of Reynolds 531, french bottom bracket and french threading on forks. I absolutely love the bronze color.

This far I have found these lovely Mavic CXP30 rims and ordered hand made track hubs from Mack Hubs in Poland. The stem is a Cinelli A1 and bars just some no name risers. Cranks are Shimano 600 road cranks and I'm thinking to change them for some old Italian or French track cranks as soon as I find them. Seat post is Gipiemme semi aero and seat it self San Marco Concor in nice reddish leather.

Campagnolo bottom bracket and Shimano 600 head set which came with the frame set are in great shape after polishing.

Here are some pictures:

Hi inforest!

I think the Italian or French track cranks would look great. - If it were mine I'd also want to scare up some Belleri track bars or the like for authenticity's sake. +1 on the color.

PS -is that BB King on the wall?

Ça c'est beau!!! Love the color.

Cedric is a good guy with some interesting bikes. I just finished putting a Lejeune together that I bought from him and I'm very pleased with it.

Finally I found matching cranks. They are Gipiemme sprint, unfortunately road model for double chain ring, and in my opinion great looking.

I also had to make a little cast for school so I made a piece of jewerly for my honey...

Hi These look nice on just about any older bike and they were for track originally but can take a second chainwheel.

Anyway one of my favorites that I put on a bike every now and then.

Soon going on my 90's MBK Mirage Pro. (maybe)

Hi everyone! It's be en a long time since my last visit.

I participated in a group ride for old racing bikes in Vaasa, Finland with my Gitane Piste. I also mounted porteur bars on it, and I think they will stay.
