Lofter,

Why tempt me... Crying or Very sad

I'm close to finishing putting together my own 1984 Team Pro.

As I received it about 2008

With new Stronglight sealed bearing headset

Titanium spindle sealed searing BB

More pictures to follow... Wink

It just reactivates those dreams of "how would I get that bike shipped here from France?" Smile

cool, its tough to do from leboncoin. unless theres a forum member around or they (seller) wants to ship its hard. no paypal on that site.plus it has to be the right size box or the mail service over there charges big bucks . i know, i have a forum member helping me get that white systeme u bike shipped over and he got it all boxed up took it to the parcel service and they said it too big . it frustrating for him and me . so hes had to break it back down and rebox it and try again . thanks kongoken for all the help so far ill make it right for you when all is said and done . i was frustrated yesturday.

I found a solution to ship bikes. I bought my team pro in Arizona and live in Berlin, Germany. I used bikeflights.com. Still expensive, but compared to every other service still reasonable. Good luck.

PS: when my to gitanes are finished I'll post some photos. Without the knowledge of the forum, I couldn't renew my bikes.

Thanks to all of You for sharing.

Ben

shipping from france is not that hard but sometimes if you are unlucky they measure the box. There is a maximum size which you can cut down a bike box to fit and it works but the wheels have to come off and everything is tight. I forgot the size but its on the Colissimo web site.
