I think on the smaller frame sizes, the shifters would have been too close to the top tube when in the aero position so they were put on the side like most bikes. This Vigorelli has the shifters on the side for that reason. |

cool frenchbuilt , I looked again at the pics I posted and the two frames kinda look the same size. I can see on the one you posted where they couldn't put the aero shifters on it because of the frame size, but not on the two I referenced. they are basically the same size. the only thing I can think of is that they wanted to take advantage of the upcoming aero craze that the industry went thru . where were the shifter boses on your vigorelli's? |
