I greet all of the forum, I have a Gitane but I do not know anything about him, he stood more than 25 years in the attic and I took him out just the other day and saw that beneath the dust hides a good bike, unfortunately the label has only one on the front fork, can anyone tell me something about the bike, thank you!

after a request on my bike I found a forum that the number underneath the pedal is interpreted as the year, month and day of manufacture, if I understand correctly, I turned the bike and there found the Serial number and the number 4178 and the letter D, I will become the image that we clarify further if possible, I would have to get stickers

poslje zamolbe o mom biciklu naišao sam na forumu da se broj ispod pedala tumači kao godina , mjesec i dan proizvodnje , ako sam dobro razumio, okrenuo sam bicikl i tamo našao seriski broj i broj 4178 i slovo D , postat ču sliku da mi pobliže razjasnite ako je moguće , želio bi si nabaviti naljepnice

Gitane "serial numbers" have no meaning and were not traceable.
They may be your lucky "LOTTO" number.  |
