Je li vaš bicikl veličine?

(Is the bike your size?)

To izgleda dobro. 100 € je dobra cijen.

(It looks good and 199 Euros is a good price)

To je vjerojatno Model 1976.

(It's probably a 1976 model.)

To može biti samo jedan od svoje vrste u Hrvatskoj, ali Gitane je bio jedan od najvećih proizvođača bicikla u Francuskoj.

(It may be the only one of it's kind in Croatia but Gitane was one of the largest bike manufacturers in France.)

Gdje ti živiš u Hrvatskoj?

Nasvidenje.

Hey thx for the answer.

Regarding size i think its a bit too large for me, it is 60 cm and my height is 175 cm (sorry for the metrics Smile)

I live in Rijeka. Do you know was this an entry level model?

Btw no need for translator Wink

Gitane Tour de L'Avenir is a lower mid range model, not an entry level bike. It doesn't have a high quality frame.

The frame and wheels are the 2 most important parts of a bike as far as ride and handling are concerned.

Alloy rims can be .5kg to 1.5kg lighter than steel rims.

Look for a bike with an alloy steel frame like Reynolds 531, Super Vitus or Columbus tubing.

Those frames can be .4kg to .8kg lighter than a frame that's made of carbon steel tubing like the Tour de L'Avenir.

Stronger tubing can be made much thinner which results in a smoother riding bike.

If a bike is too big or too small for you then it's not a bargain no matter the cost.

I don't know about availability in Croatia or Slovenia but here are a lot of better quality bikes from Hungary being sold on eBay.

Good luck...
