Hi As you probably know, I owned the 1992 delta in the image you posted on Facebook. I don't think they built many and maybe it was mine in the photo.
The frame I bought by itself and then built up the bike with all electric Mektronic and what I thought correct pieces. The Atax bars alone are super rare and... Thanks for finding this great photo on facebook.

I mean the post you just did of the "Ugly" '92 Delta on Facebook. Yes, thats it!
I actually posted pictures on the Forum last year to see if anyone could ID the bike thinking it was a Delta.
I bought the frame from a Gitane expert in Paris and he thought it was a prototype. Then I built it up.

Is that a cutaway section in the head tube? I can't really see it too clearly in the pics. |

I think it was possible to add the bars onto each side. I measured and you could turn the fork with a narrow thickness bar attached. There are no bolt holes or attachment holes. It is different than the catalog photo which has a
parallel tube in front of the steering tube. Strange. It also thins down the
steering tube but not by much. |
