need help whit this one mi frend is trying to know if this is a gitane after questioning him he sent me 2 pics and told me it has bmc lugs and huret dropouts but i cant find any gitane models that have comp on it

Looks like a mid range French bike from ~1976-79.
Probably not a Gitane. |
