Hi,
My name is Michał, I'm living in Poland.
I bought this Gitane frame some time ago with a view to restoration it.
Unfortunetly I lost in fight for identification. I tried to figure it out on my own but I'm confused.
Stickers suggest that is bike from 1978-1979, but I coudn't find in this years this kind of painting.
As you see, probably it is made from 102 Aerotube.
If anybody can help with this frame, or have some advice, I will be realy grateful.
Thank you in advance !

Hi Michal, If you would be so kind take a tape measure out and measure the frame. If you can make a drawing of the results and then post it. I think that would maybe help because so of the guys on this site have the measurements of a lot of the bikes. My bike has that solid derailleur drop and it is a very early tour de france. But you can buy those drops, so do what I suggested. Might work |
