Unfortunately, the seller has been a complete flake. First, he was late in getting me the invoice. Finally, he sent one, and promised that he would (1) sell me the bike and (2) send it to me. Well...that was two weeks ago, and after I sent him the money, he has not replied to a single email or telephone call. So I tried one last time to talk to him, and again...silence. So now, I have made a claim via Paypal. We will see if he replies to them. I still want the bike (of course!), but I am not about to give anyone almost $1K for nothing! Unless it is one of you good folks...naturally. We'll see what happens. But for now, I am completely bummed out. He also did not respond to the PayPal notice, and so every penny of the money was returned to me. However, I STILL WANT THE BIKE!!! I am going to try something else to get it. Please look out for it online in case he attempts to relist it. I was bidding on that bike too. There should be some way to bring fraud or attempted fraud charges against the perp. I sent a nasty email to them, which I feel very bad about...although it did get a response. I am hoping that we can get the deal done. There was a "Team Pro" on eBay last week. The seller started with a "Buy It Now" of ~$500 but quickly lowered it to $249.99 where some one grabbed it. It was probably a Super Corsa Super Vitus 983 frame with lower end French components. It looked nice but it was 1 size too small for me. The red one WAS a TdF.... One size too small. There was also a Touring frame out of Seattle with cantilever bosses and as Lofter mentioned the "Team Pro" which was a ???? (but went fast at $249).
