I'm starting to get into biking and I got this Gitane for free and found this forum. I need new tires and the chainring is warped enough so that the chain falls off every rotation. Is this easily fixable? If I was to buy a new one, what would I ask for? What size tires would I need? Thanks a ton.

Sorry if my images don't work. They didn't in the preview but I think I posted them right. |

Hi and welcome
Looks like a grand sport deluxe. Your LBS should be able to straighten the front chainrings enough to ride. They should also be able to fix you up with some tyres & tubes too. It's even a red one! Should go fast! |
