I stumbled across this forum and it is bringing back memories of the good old days. I've been away from cycling since 89 and have been bitten by the bug again.
With all the talk about restoration and vintage Gitane bikes, has anyone found a source to get the Sella Italia Yellow and Black striped saddle? I gotta get me one of these.

They were an early model of gel saddle called the "bio-turbo".
They do come on ebay from time to time. I have found that the british ebay is good for old stuff like that. Good luck. |

There has been one available in those colors over the past few years. They are rare...one person on this forum (lofter) was fortunate enough to snag one lately. But I am also looking for one!
They didn't last long because of the cover: Instead of leather, they are nylon. |
