Afterwards, we'll all go back to Nicolas' place for the post-conference party. |

It would be very fitting indeed to hold a Gitane meeting in France. I like the idea.
I found this clip over the weekend, on You Tube, of a guy visiting the centre. Well, he's standing by the gate post!

I wonder if they advocate the use of aerodynamic helmets and bars at the center.

Stephan, I'm sure they do now considering they have been proven to improve time trial times by eight seconds.

You know, the house I was referring to...it's about 3km from St Girons.
Frédéric Moncassin opened a hotel/restaurant there, called "la flamme rouge" as the last km on the TDF... |

Nicolas, the restaurant and house sound great. One hears tales of a number of places throughout France, and indeed Europe, where old Pros have opened their businesses. It's a super part of the world in the Pyrenees, amazing scenery, cycling, life and Corbieres. I think Laurent Fignon has placed his Centre in a very good area. Everyone goes to the Alps, the Pyrenees are often forgotten.
