| I happened into a bike shop in La Jolla, CA this weekend and spied a bike that would be of interest to the members of this group. It was a very pristine, very clean 84 Gran Tour, in gray like the one in the 84 catalog. This example had front and rear racks, appeared to be very stock and looked like new. It seemed to be a medium size but I did not measure it. The shop is Velo Culture, at 858-454-0398, ask for Sky Boyer. I'm not into touring bikes so I didn't inquire about pricing. For those whose interests go beyond Gitane, the shop has a bunch of nice 80's steel bikes, mostly Italian. Happy hunting! |
