It's very easy to make short URL links to post in your messages with tinyURL free redirection service. It makes your messages with URL links easier to read. Cool

Change this long link:

http://www.leboncoin.fr/li?q=gitane&ca=7_s&th=1&c=29&w=3&rs=&re=&ms=&me=&ros=&roe=&ss=&se=&ccs=&cce=&cs=&ce=&zz=ex%3A75001&fu=

To this short link:

http://tinyurl.com/5o7rog

It's easy, just go to http://tinyurl.com/

1. Go to the web site you want to make a link for and right click on the web address in the Navigation bar in your browser. This highlights the web address and opens a menu. Left click on Copy in the menu.

2. In the tinyURL.com web site paste your long link into the box that says "Enter a long URL to make tiny:"

3. Click on "Make tinyURL:" and voilą you get a short URL link! Wink

4. Highlight the the new URL link, "http://tinyurl.com/5o7rog" for example and paste it into your message. That's it.

5. You can check to make sure the link works properly by clicking on [open in new window] Cool

6. I highly suggest that you do step 5. In another forum a poster wanted to show pictures of his bike but accidentally left off 1 character of the original link. The tinyURL he created linked to a medical photo of a torso shot of someone with highly developed "man boobs"! Embarassed
