Here's a lovely Gitane on Ebay France. Described as an Ex Pro machine with Mavic SSC rims, and mentions the possibility of it being M. H Abres', the brother of the French collector, M. E Arbres, who rode with Bernard Hinault. It certainly looks pretty special. Some sort of provenance may well be able to be checked.
A very, very nice machine indeed and the seller will ship to the world.

This super machine went for 1,510 euros within 6 seconds of the final whistle. Was anyone here the fortunate winner?
