One man's junk is another man's treasure they say. I have some odds and ends that some of you may need to clutter your shops. Most of it is French thread, and as you well know, French thread stuff is harder to find for our older Gitanes these days. Here's the list. Chris,
I'm in need of a 1975ish Down tube decal in Yellow. I do require an "ORIGINAL". Gregs are ever so slightly off and I want to get the real thing for my 76 TdF
Hope you can play Santa,

I wish I could help, but I've only the seat tube decal in that style, it's yellow too! I know what you mean. The color saturation on the ones Greg has are just a little off, but I have used them. Mine are from Mel Pinto, but I know they're long gone now. I have some doubt about how "sticky" these are after so many years. Funny thing, I need the same decal in green. |

Chris,
Thanks. Actually on Greg's there is a thin "underline" line below the "GITANE" that is missing. Yeah, I'm picky...but this TdF, I feel, deserves the real thing. I missed one on French eBay awhile back to a bidder from Japan. I have a set from Greg for my Interclub restore.
