I am a recovering Raiders fan. I have been a raiders fan since I can remember (mid-1970s), but cannot take the idiocy that is Al Davis anymore. I have sworn (after what he did to the coach this year) that I will not root for the Raiders until he is no longer associated with the team. That is not to say that I wish him ill (or dead), but that I don't think anyone will be able to save that team until he is "in a better place." In the meantime, I am a Bears fan. I live in Oakland and I ride right past the Raiders headquarters in Alameda all the time on one of regular rides. I'll probably become a Traitors fan after Al Davis goes but for now.... TA DA! Bummer, you too... I was planning on taking the past week off to get a lot of ridding in. Went out several times, stayed out for just 10-15 minutes. It was too cold for my delicate condition - le grippe and catarrh got me down.
