So, today I went to my first bike swap in Seattle. What an absolute blast. I have been looking for another Selle Italia saddle so I don't have to tear down the turbo saddle on my TdF (actually I want to still be able to read the Bernard Hinault on the nose of the saddle). There was one booth that had a yellow turbo saddle - oooohhhhh. But, unfortunately it came with a bike that I didn't want. Eventually I stumbled on this almost new Italia Mundialita saddle for $8. The only problem I have now is deciding what color bar tape to go to.

Oh, and I must have seen 8-10 Stronglight cranks and other French goodies in a couple of booths that had almost exclusive used parts.

Just thought I'd share my fun for the day. Next year I'll have a list and more cash. Very Happy

It's a neutral color saddle. Does it not look good with the tape you have? I look at the overall bike to decide on tape color, not the saddle.

The bar tape is black cloth right now. It looks fine and I'll probably leave it. But, it also gives me an excuse to buy more bar tape. I like how the tan and red go together.

If ya want my permission, ya got it. 2 rolls of cloth tape will set you back $8-10. If you don't like it, it's a cheap retape. Likely the cheapest thing that can be added to a Bike other than air in the Tires...
