Id appreciate any help in ID-ing this frame. Its equipped with (gold anno) Mafac Competition brakes, SuperLJ deraillers, Pivo bar and stem , Normandy hi flange hubs and T.A. crankset
The frame its self has Bocama lugs, simplex drop-outs, and half wrap seat stays.
Is it a Gitane ?

Hi greyhundguy,I scent a pic to Marinoni and they told me this frame had been re-badged and was not one of theirs , as I had suspected. So the search continues...

The wrapping, valley style seat stay caps are not from any Gitane that I am familiar with. Maybe someone else on the list can shed more light. Hummm...Appears to have all French components. Simplex, Mafac(?), TA.

Doesn't appear to be a Gitane, judging from the wrap/seat stays. |
