Interclub
The “Interclub” was Gitane’s entry-level
racer. While most collectors prefer thoroughbred bicycles
made completely of Reynolds or Columbus tubing, Interclub
owners tend to be fiercely loyal to their bicycles, which
were mostly made with no-name steel tubing.

1970's Gitane Interclub |

The Interclub model was used by Gitane throughout the 1970's
and 1980's and modernized with the times. The bicycles were
perfect for the weekend club racer and for the recreational
rider who didn’t want to spend an arm and a leg on
a racing machine. These bicycles have stood the test of time
as quality made bikes.
