The hardest finish in a race is the one in which you get 2nd place. When you win, everything seems easy.
I had a great team with a perfect sprinter's lead out. We controlled the race for the last few laps, and I was literally delivered to the line. My last lead out man got third (he is in the picture as well in Blue).
Anyhow...TOOT TOOT! I have a California Champion jersey framed in my office now, which is pretty cool.... |
